The Scars That Bind Us by Michele Notaro

5.0

Omg. Can't believe I've been waiting to start the series for do long. Cause I absolutely loooooooved it.
(Okay, there's lots of info dumbing the first... 20 %? But I did not really care. In fact, after reading the prequel novella, it helped me understand the world even better.)

So, this book is a slow burn, which I didn't anticipate for a shifter/mage book but it's just been what I was looking for. Our guys don't meet for the first couple of chapters but I didn't mind. The paranormal world was fascinating and for a while, it feels like a really great paranormal book (without romance), but then it changes (after like chapter 5) and our MCs are almost always together... And the hurt/comfort???
