I really wanted to like this book and so much about it did work for me - the vibes! The premise! An intriguing plot! So much great queer rep (bi for bi, trans and gender nonconforming characters - plural!, and general queer acceptance) - but then it just ultimately didn't land for me. I wanted it to! Just could not get into and and felt like it was such a drag in the end for me.
