This was a happy accident after finding my audio book was automatically returned ( only at 60 % ) and now got to wait for 14 people ahead of me to get it back.

I quickly chose the first Mcfadden book without a hold to listen to on my walk and errands.

Didn't know it was just a novella, and based on the Gift of the Magi.

I enjoyed it for being a quick listen ( under an hour), loved how Stella made a sacrifice to give her husband a Christmas present. Only it all goes wrongs.

Maybe if I knew the story of the Magi, it would of made more sense.
