This is a book written by a QPOC with a QPOC as a main character! The queerness of the character is absolutely not discussed in the novel though. The story is about family, identity, depression, friendship and feeling out of place.
I love the main character so much and I want to give him big hugs.

I also loved learning about the Iranian culture, their language, their food and their traditions. It's a lovely book.
