I was with this book from the start. I’m not usually I to YA but this one worked for me. I needed to see how it unfolded. The suspense was great and the book has heart. It also speaks to issues not a lot of other folks are speaking to.

There were some timeline issues and it could’ve been shorter in spots for me but it still worked and the payoff was worth it.
