Book 1 in a new series, so naturally it takes time to meet the characters and set the scene before the story takes off. It feels a bit stiff and although it is meant to be kink, we only get spanking between the two and passikg comments of other scenes in the club. It was more of a story of two men finding comfort in each other, both with heavy family issues. The Daddy dynamic was low key and only went as deep as being called daddy and aftercare. However, the intimate scenes were well written with detail and steam. Both men have past trauma and stress and they definitely find comfort in each other. The next book in the series is an FF. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
