I'm a Freida McFan. And I blindly believe that I'll love every single book of her that I'll ever come across. But unfortunately in the case of this book, for the most part, I kept resisting my urge to put it down and never look back. It was at times cozy in a girlie sort of way. But I didn't feel any suspense or thrill, not until I reached 83% of it, and trust me, it took hella patience. The twist was fine but not too unexpected. Either ways, I'm just happy it's over. It could've worked better as a romance/drama/chick flick kinda read, but definitely average for a thriller. Also, I wish we could know the backstories of two of the side characters who were even shadier than the main character(s) but that wasn't there either. So yeah, not one of Freida's bests, hence not one of my favourites.
