Okay, here are my honest to god thoughts on this.
1. Book one was amazing and I still think about it this day.
2. This book was not as great.
I know this is a romantasy book with a lot of spice. I know this. But if you are in the middle of a battle for your people and your life, can you just not f*** for five seconds please? Every couple of chapters of them doing it was too much. Her anxiety should be around getting free and her memories back. Not...this.
I do still really appreciate the book, despite the above mentioned complain. I love the world building, the s*x were believable, and the character development was great. I will be continuing to read this series, but I just think I will be skipping certain scenes because it's too much.
