I just feel like I need a record that I tried this cause every time I see people love this I remember why I hated the tiny amount I read so viscerally. This books opens with our FMC facing police brutality and sexual harassment, from said cops, only for her to be handed over like an object to her equally abusive "mates". All this made me feel was pure and utter rage. I don't consider it a good sign when a book starts with me wanting every man in the story to die a horrible death, including the MMCs!
