This was such a beautifully done story. Mel is struggling after a landslide accident at work, and she's spiraling out trying to fill the void left behind. Not being able to let people be there for her or help her is a struggle that she's in deep, and she doesn't notice that someone has been there for her all along. 

Owen knows that Mel isn't ok, but he doesn't know what to do about the way she's dealing with things, or not dealing with them. He does the best that he can to just be her rock, and when she finally sees him for what he is to her, when she finally sees that she can come to him, its world changing.
