Marriage for One by Ella Maise
5.0
Another book which I am mad at myself for putting off as long as I did but happy I waited until I could give it my full attention. This book was peak grump book boyfriend material and I fell in love with it. Jack gave me STRAIGHT-UP BUTTERFLIES with his sideways glances at Rose like it was insanity.
Rose was a fun character that I felt was super relatable, and Jack was the grumpy man of everyone's dreams who only had eyes for her. I was nervous about the conflict that was hinted at but in the end, I felt that he had his reasons and it was not unforgivable. I loved Rose at the end when she REFUSED to let him do what he was presenting to her, a queen truly. The scenes in the hospital got to my "taking care of the other trope" heart real good. And the love these two shared just melted my heart. A great read and I continue to enjoy Ella Maise's writing. Love how they were each other's "homes" gets me every single time lol
