Eyes on Me by Sara Cate

5.0

I didn’t think Sara Cate’s book could get spicier, but DAMN.

I will continue reading every single book she produces, because I can’t help but be captured by everything she writes. The characters? Wow. The relationships? WOW. The problematic romance trying to pull everyone apart when the characters can’t help but be drawn back to each other? YES PLEASE.

This book followed Garrett’s story. The man who doesn’t believe love truly exists and hasn’t been with a woman physically in a decade. But then the least expected thing happens: he finds himself attracted to a woman he’s known for years. In fact, he watched her grow up. In his house. Because she’s his step-sister.

YEP. His step-sister. Like I said, WOW. He goes to his family’s lake house to see for himself what’s going on in his own mind, but continually only finds himself further drawn to her. What he isn’t aware of is that she’s been in love with him for nearly her entire life.

Between the suspense, the family drama, and the secrecy, I couldn’t put this book down – nor did I want to. It’s also possibly one of the steamiest books I’ve ever read.
