Saleem is definitely my first bookbae of 2025.

This was definitely my favorite of the Evermore series and that is because of Saleem. That man knew what he wanted an never wavered. When Amira broke it off with Saleem he was like oh really? Say it to my face. The way he loved Amira was beautiful. This is how I wish marriage of convenience to be written -- straight to the point we faking but not faking energy.

Amira's family was definitely wishy washy for me, especially her aunt and cousin. And I was also upset about the issue she had with Sovanna and Leerah (from Books 1+2 of the series). The story was more about Amira and Leerah with very brief mentions of the previous couples. Synovi also makes a camo (IYKYK) and I still love that man down too.
