Cash by Jessica Peterson
4.0
I love Jessica and her small town romance books and this new series I can already tell is going to be an absolute hit!
I love a good small town cowboy romance with enemies to lovers and I am there! But this book also has the whole inheritance stipulation drama and you really have my attention!
I absolutely loved Mollie and Cash. Both of these two characters are strong and most definitely push each other's buttons. The banter between these two was everything you expect in a enemies to lovers books but what really got me was the conversations these two had with each other that was personal and really drew out emotions. We saw how Cash and Mollie were able to be vulnerable with each other and it was beautiful and heartbreaking to see how each one was grieving differently over the same person because the relationship with Mollie’s dad was different for each of them.
What I loved about Cash was his ability to apologize and admit when he was wrong about his assumptions about someone. I loved seeing admit and own up to it and move forward. It takes a lot for a character like Cash to do that so I loved to see it. I loved how supportive Mollie and Cash were of each other. Cash never pushed Mollie to do or be someone she isn’t and same with Mollie. I loved how their relationship progressed and I loved the Epilogue for these two! It was literally a perfect ending for these characters as it was so fitting.
I honestly can't wait to see the other Rivers brothers and their stories. I fell in love with this family and I am excited for others as well.
Thank you to Jessica and Valentine for the arc of this book.
