A rightful classic in the field of consciousness studies! It’s saying the same things as a lot of other spiritual texts, but these lessons are so damn hard to learn and remember. Hearing the same thing expressed in a different way is key to me grasping these concepts. I kept thinking of Sailor Bob’s lessons in James Braha’s Living Reality, how the present moment is the only thing that actually exists. The question and answer format is helpful, and I find myself thinking “yes, I had that same question!” Only thing I didn’t like here is the very dated gender binary and heteronormativity, but it’s only painfully prevalent in a few sections. I could get past it. Also heads up, Tolle’s voice is quite unusual lol, but I also kind of love it.
