The Irish Goodbye: A Novel by Amy Ewing
3.5
I listened to "The Irish Goodbye" by Amy Ewing, the narration, especially the correct pronunciation of Irish names, was a highlight, although I couldn't spell them if I tried, lol. The story of second chances at love and healing after parental loss was touching, and Niall and Cordelia were adorable, complemented by engaging side characters. While I felt the third act breakup added extra drama- I didn't feel like it was entirely necessary, the overall narrative remained touching and enjoyable.
