Let me catch my breath…
Okay, now then… let me start off by admitting that I was a bit hesitant to read this book because my wife gifted it to me for Christmas and I had never heard of it before, it was written by a friend of hers so I felt a little bit of pressure which I don’t do well with (insert anxious laughter), and I immediately noticed a few names of characters and places that were almost identical to some that appeared within a few S.J Mass books and so I felt myself wondering if this book would feel original or not which is something I look for. I am now SO GLAD I gave it a shot. IT IS SO SO SO SO GOOOOOD and I am so upset I have to wait for the next one to come out but it’ll be worth the wait I’m sure! This book gives magic, dragons, fantasy, SPICE, intergenerational STUFF that’ll make you think, love, friendship, lgbtq+ rep, and a great story line. What was there not to love?! NOTHING people, nothing. Go, read it, then come back and tell me I was right because… I’m right. I’d actually reread this. No, I definitely will when I know the next is about to be released. LOVED THIS BOOOOOK!
