Unhinged: Yes (honestly need trigger warnings)
Spicy: maybe too spicy 🤪 as in it got repetitive *please note this is a situation where sex is like a currency and some very weird stuff happens.
Love Triangle: my least fav trope but was done well here
Tem’s Age: She is 20 but somehow feels way more like a teenager
Insta Love: Yes
Also the way timed passed felt off. Tem often talks like months and month have gone by but it’s only been a few weeks. She would say things like “back then” referring to something that happen a couple weeks prior.
Wish there was deeper world building and less Tem
Not believing anything anyone tells her about how they feel about it her.
I don’t know how to rate this. Part of me says 2 stars part of me says 5 stars. It’s a strange experience.
It’s deeply sexual. With an underlying interesting plot.
It ends very fast. The ending was actually a bit of a let down.
Leo was end game for me but well the ending.
Tem’s constant doubt grated on me. But watching her develop was interesting.
This was a much slower read for me as even the vast amount of spice didn’t really hold my attention. And it got repetitive.
Let me just say though the Challengers Non Canon extra scene in the Indie Version was EVERYTHING I wish the book would have been.
