I mean obviously this is one of my favorites in this series. I don’t think I reread this one as much as the others, but I’m actually kind of glad about that because there were elements I had forgotten about that I got to almost experience again for the first time.

Amun and Haidee are a dedicated couple to each other almost from the beginning. It’s almost insta-love/lust, but it feels different from the usual types. This is done very tastefully.

We also get to see the set-up for a couple of other stories, which is an element I kind of miss from Gena’s newer works. It really helps build the anticipation and the suspense.
