Christmas Sweater Weather by Jaqueline Snowe

4.0

This is an adorable Christmas-y read. The pacing is fast and held my interest throughout. I have read previous books by this author, so was really excited for this one, and it did not disappoint. I loved that right from the get-go we had an idea of what we were getting into with the storyline. It was pretty obvious that Hayden was supposed to be off-limits as Charlottes brother’s best friend, but who has that ever stopped in a romance book? And the fact that he was a single dad too? The writing was on the wall, and I was ready for it. There were some pretty hilarious, laugh-out-oud moments throughout the book, and they were great. The chemistry between Charlotte and Hayden was also obvious from the get-go, it just oozed off the page in the best possible way. I do feel like this book is geared for younger adults, almost NA, but maybe not quite? Borderline? I’m not sure, maybe my age is showing but a few things just seemed a little young for me, and that isn’t bad, I still had fun with it!

I really enjoyed this book and think if you are looking for some hallmark type Christmas vibes, then you will as well.
