Haunt Sweet Home by Sarah Pinsker

This story was perfect for spooky season! I really enjoyed it as it was all about the spooky vibes. If you are a fan of spooky books, but get nervous seeing the horror label because it can be a wide range genre, don’t fret, this book is all about the spooky vibes not overly scary and I loved it. I enjoyed how this book gave glimpses as to how some reality tv works (I am a strong believer so much of it is staged and this book plays on that suspicion). The ending was so much fun, and I felt that it really wrapped up the story nicely. There were some great breadcrumbs that were sprinkled throughout the story leading up to the grand reveal and I loved looking back on them. I felt that this book did everything it set out to do and that can be quite hard to do in a novella. For me it was the perfect length and didn’t need to be any longer, it was exactly the right length.

If you are looking for a wonderfully done ghost story, then look no further than this novella.

Thank you to @tordotcompub and the author @sarahpinsker for this copy. All thoughts are my own.
