Ava's Demon, Book 2 by Michelle Fus

5.0

"Ava's Demon" is a webcomic written and drawn by Michelle Czajkowski from 2012 onwards.

It follows a girl named Ava, who has been haunted her whole life by a demon that only she can see and that always gets her into trouble, causing her angry outbursts. Ava is sent one day to the principal's office only to get on a ship with two of her classmates and have her planet destroyed.

The storytelling is masterful. The captivating story and plot makes you not want to put the book down once you start reading, every page leaving you with a strong need for more. When I finished reading it, that's exactly what went through my head. I NEEDED more. It being a webcomic, it's not finished and practically left us hanging in the middle of a conversation.

The characters are complex, lovable, multi-dimensional and so well constructed. There is no black or white, there are no fully good or entirely evil characters, and don't get me started on how all of them made me want to call them MY CHILD.

The artwork and animation are so soft, detailed and pleasant to look at. The visuals are just breathtaking. The colour palette is beautiful and the entire book breathes aesthetics.

Overall, I can't wait for the next part to come out. I would definitely recommend "Ava's Demon" to anyone who is a fan of comic books, visual novels, webcomics, mangas, or to anyone that's starting out in the world of webcomics.

It being a webcomic, you can read it for free at http://avasdemon.com/.
