Yoshiro is like a Japanese Batman (equipped with his own sidekick–Kevin) and his determination to solve Ebony’s problems to stop her from running really dominated the book and took this story for a wild ride. This is such a slow burn romance, I damn near thought they weren’t going to hunch until the epilogue. This book isn’t what I was expecting but wasn’t terrible. I penalized points for the author’s incessant use of the c-word.
