Hugh and Lila are perfect... no one can tell me differently.

Lila is Hugh's best friend's little sister. When she comes back to town to visit, she ends up needing to stay in Hugh's guest house. Lila always had a little crush on Hugh and Hugh was always protective of Lila but nothing went further because of her brother. While back in town for the summer, Lila makes a list of things she wants to do! Things like skinny dipping, but the most important on the list was losing her beloved v-card... and guess who she wants to take it! That's right, none other than the roomie she's living with Hugh freaking Reynolds!

Hugh is definitely hesitant to dive into this with Lila, but eventually, he gives in. They keep telling themselves not to get attached because Lila is due to go back to Chicago after the summer is over, but the heart wants what it wants!

I lovedddd Hugh! He was seriously the sweetest, most protective hero! Even when he kept telling himself not to go after Lila, he couldn't help it. He was just drawn to her. Lila was a great heroine! Even though she was a virgin, she didn't make a big deal out of it and didn't act clueless/naive (which is what would typically bother me about a virgin character).

Laura Pavlov is SO GOOD at the angst and the spice, and of course, she didn't disappoint here either! I loved all the relationships with all the characters, even all the side characters. Hugh and his siblings were especially entertaining and I cannot wait to read the rest of their stories as they come out. This book had me laughing but also swooning the entire time!

Overall, 5/5 absolutely loved! Another amazing start to a series I know I'm going to devour by Laura Pavlov! Also, LOVED the cameo from the Honey Mountain characters (Hugh is the honey mountain sisters' cousin!!)
