Well considering I'm reviewing this only just past midnight, I've read this one in a day. GOD DAMN this series is good. The second book was definitely better then the first and the first was still amazing.

The story goes from being stuck in the hospital to bring on the run. There's a lot of action and adventure and a lot more character growth on top of that. Chloe is learning what her abilities really mean and has to try and cope with the horror. Derek slowly became more understanding and he's definitely one of my favourites, Rae wasn't as trustworthy but you pity her, Liz got better and Tori redeemed herself mostly. Simon was...still boring and I don't like to think that about the nice guy but Derek really is nice too and sigh. The chemistry is definitely strong between Derek and Chloe and I love it.

The whole plot twist with the half demon spirit makes me wonder what's going to happen there. I can't help but like her but I know releasing her couldn't possibly end well. I can't wait for everyone who works in that hospital to get their just desserts though. This experiment clearly isn't good.

I wish I had something more eloquent to say but...it's a great sequel. This is definitely a good sequel and it tops the first. I can't wait to get my hands on the third one.
