Hilarious comedian and sex worker Bella Green published her memoir in 2021. Sharing stories from her growing up, her interests in sex, working at peep shows, brothels, as an escort, and later stand up comedian, Green shares plenty about her life, including aspects of her mental health and her substance use. Green has a way of telling heavy stories and making you laugh out loud in her own unique ways! If you’ve ever been curious about some of the jobs of a sex worker - here’s a great place to learn! 

I was lucky to see Green at Adelaide Fringe in 2020 where she won Best Comedy Act and for good reason too! She was hilarious! Unfortunately, Green died by suicide in 2023, following a battle with mental illness. I had long wanted to get my hands on this memoir after its publishing having seen her live stand up comedy, and despite the time that has passed, it’s just as exciting to read now.
