I was a little confused while I was reading this book, as I had (erroneously) assumed that it would be in a timeline after the Enemies of the State. Once I realised that it, in fact, was in a time set in the last chapter of that book, and before the very end, I could keep reading.

I felt this one drag a little more than the first. I'm not sure even what it's place is exactly in the overall picture of things, but maybe that will become obvious once I read book 2 or 3? Or perhaps it is exactly what it's named: an Interlude...
