The Heir by Kiera Cass

{3 stars}
Eeeeaaaaaddllyyyyyyynnnn...
If you haven't read the 3 previous books, please don't continue reading my review! It spoils those 3 previous books, but not this one.
So, after the Selection, Maxon & America of course have a daughter. And she's beautiful and... Wait, decisive even if she can be overconfident? How did that happen for the offspring of AMERICA?
I always found America annoyingly wishy-washy throughout the first 3 books, so I was glad to see her mature, become a mom, and teach her daughter to be better at making decisions.
Still, that was mostly Maxon.
I am one of the few that liked Eadlyn as a character. Sure, she is quite spoiled and can be catty and vain, but I like that better than insecure and scared in a main character. Eadlyn was strong, and I liked that a LOT.
***THE HEIR SPOILERS START HERE***
The fact that Eadlyn DID NOT CHOOSE, while not necessarily surprising, was another cliffhanger that will keep people (including myself) reading the next books. I liked a lot of the guys, but I did have favorites which I won't disclose as to keep fights at a minimum.
Swearing: Minimal use, not strong words
Intimacy: Nothing more than kisses from what I remember
Parties/Drinking: Very formal if at all
