2nd read: 5 stars!

I guess, having read this trilogy before, made it a much more emotional experience the second time around. The character work and world building are masterful, the slow beginning and introduction to everything very reminiscent of The Dragonbone Chair - the first book in another one of my all-time favorite series. I'm excited to continue on with my reread and to finally explore more of the RotE this year! 

1st read: 4.5 stars!

I’m finally diving into The Realm of the Elderlings, and I’m very happy to say that my journey is off to a fantastic start! This book was a great introduction to this world and its characters. I feel quite attached to some already and can’t wait to see how the story continues!
