I think I started following Rupi Kaur about two years ago on instagram because I thought her poems were cute. For some reason, I just never picked up one of her collections. I finally decided to buy one and it blew any expectations I had out of the water. These poems are so beautifully crafted and strung together. The pain, the love, the anger, the fear, the awe, and determination are so raw. So many of these resonated with me and I’m certain they won’t be forgotten.
