Dix by Emmy Sanders
5.0
This second series by Emmy is going to be wonderful. Though the Plum Valley Cowboys will always hold a special place in my heart, I have no doubt the guys of Elite 8 Studios will be okay with second place.
This book has the same incredible writing and character development that we’ve grown to expect from Emmy. She writes solid stories that make you fall in love with the characters and feel all the emotions.
Dix is the story of Dixon and Nikolas. Dixon is a grumpy marshmallow (my favourite kind of character). He’s undoubtedly kind and loyal, and there is nothing that can’t be answered with a grunt. But when he meets Nikolas for the first time as the newest member of Elite 8 he’s going through some self-doubt regarding relationships and when Niko walks in…the confident, beautiful man puts him on edge, bringing his Grumpiness to a whole new level.
Niko however is not going to let the intriguing grumpy bear get away without liking him, because everyone likes Niko. Making it his mission to break down Dixon’s walls.
These two are funny and sexy, and as they start to break through the animosity you get to see how absolutely wonderful they are. Especially Dixon, when he finally starts to believe he could be loved for who he is…heartwarming.
Really looking forward to the rest of this series.
