I really tried to take this book lightly but it was so hard. So much of it was Belly finding red flags and then blatantly ignoring them. It was sad to see Belly go from a girl trying to find herself in the first book to us not even knowing what she's studying in college in the third. I think this whole series would have been a lot better if it focused more on Belly's life in general and not just the boys she was obsessed with. It was a shame that we didn't get to see Conrad grow much as a character either. It happened away from the reader in between the second and third book which was sort of a shame considering we got glimpses of his POV in this book. It was criminal seeing Jeremiah's character devolve the way he did but I'm just glad he didn't succeed in taking Belly down with him.
