This was such a dreadful read. Nothing happened through most of this book. I read the entire thing because it was part of a book club read. I was the only one in the group that was able to finish (and I only finished because I was reading it with the group). The group couldn't get into it. Literally it took probably 70 pages for anything to happen and then that was it forever it seemed. If you saw the movie you saw the last 20% of the book. I don't think it will be possible to ever pick up another one of her books as I'm afraid they all read the same.
