Yes. Just, yes. Everything about this book was flawless? The raw grief of dealing with losing a loved one unexpectedly, the terror, the mystery. I loved every second of it. This book has everything I didn't know I was looking for.

Andrew had so much to deal with at once and I felt as if I was feeling it right alongside him. The writing was intense and fast-paced and I understand Andrew's desire to be controlled and how disorienting life felt for him after he lost that control. And on top of everything else he had to go deal with and go through in this book? It was outstanding, and I really don't know how else to express the feelings that I'm feeling without going on a continuous loop of "oh my God this book had me in a chokehold."

But, all joking aside, this book had me in a tight ass chokehold, and I loved every second of it.
