Unfortunately this story felt like it was trying too hard and it doesn't work. I wasn't interested in any of the characters nor what happened to them therefore I didn't finish the book.

I did, however, read one of the authors non fiction books and found this much more engaging. The Last Woman Hanged in NSW shows the writers investigative journalist talents in full swing and it is well worth reading.
