It has been a bit since I picked up a YA book - but when I tell you tgis book did not disappint - I truly mean it!
Nev herself is very unique. And I mean this in a good way because it's something that made me notice her - the fact that she stood out compared to other FMCs in books that I have read. Her character development was on point and the entire flow of the events and story made sense and were seamless.
There are some heavy topics in here - but there is also Halloween, so it most def evened out for me. Be sure that you read the triffer warnings, because while I may not have some - others do.
If you love a good redemption arc - then pay close attention to Nev's brother. I promise you won't regret it!
This book was whilesome - while giving me the things I look for when reading. Active and present MCs - secondary characters that stand out & a story that makes sense and pages that I just have to keep turning. It was a quick and very enjoyable read for me!
