It's been 200 years since we last left Luminita and Aaron and times have certainly changed. The Catholic Church holds great power and tell tales of witches turning Luminita’s easy way to make money and survive reading fortunes into a potential death sentence. To survive she has to do what she never wanted, submit to a marriage.

We find Aaron living up to his Savage name Luminita gave him. Fighting in battles and wars alongside the one human he actually enjoys. "By God's bones" you're going to love him!

Naturally Luminita and Aaron’s paths cross, but in the worst possible way. It's then that the story really takes off. The intense emotion that Jenny writes in this book really draws you in. She brings the scenes to life with her writing.

I enjoyed this one just as much, if not more than, the first, but in a completely different way. Those feelings of happiness, sadness, frustration and so many others will bring you back craving more needing to know what's next for these two.

Thank you to Jenny  Allen for the opportunity to read and review!
