I avoided reading this like the plague when it first came out because the topic wasn't one I was interested in. I've never cared for romance novels too much and definitely didn't want to read this. Eventually I caved, because so many of my friends were reading it at the time and raved about how good it was... and I instantly regretted my decision. I couldn't even finish the final chapters because the writing itself was so horrible. I think if I was remotely interested in the story it would have been slightly more tolerable. If you value well-crafted writing and believable plots, please do not waste your time on this book.
