Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas
4.0
I don’t think this book is my favorite of the series... it has just soooo much information. That said it’s still such an amazing continuation of Aelin’s story!!
I will say I cried at least 3 times while reading this book and it wasn’t even my first time reading it *facepalm*.
There are three different plot lines happening in this book. You have Celeana/Aelin and the Fae, Chaol/Dorian/Aedion and the king, and then the witches with Manon. That’s a lot of story to keep straight and I can’t imagine how she must have kept it straight to write it. All three stories could have easily been standalone stories, but since they all happen at the same time it made sense for it all to be in one book.
If you read the first two books I highly recommend continuing on! If you haven’t, this is not a book that can stand alone you need to read the others first!
