Saving Mr. Bell by H.L Day

5.0

I would like to thank GRR for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

Ahhh i really loved this!! I am SUCH A MEGA FAN of H.L Day, and Saving Mr. Bell was simply everything i could want in a feel-good holiday romance!

I loved the characterization!! Rudolf was a brilliant and troubled superstar pianist, and Arlo was the sweetest, sketchy-with-good-intentions darling who refused to watch this prodigy fall apart before his eyes! It's THAT kind of love-before-it's-love that gets me every single time, and Day got me good with how far Arlo was willing to go for Rudolf.

And while not the deepest of narratives, it was still entertaining, cozy, sexy, with lots of heart and hallmark movie charisma.

***And sure YES...if you think about the events in this at its DARKEST, this shit would be terrifying and NOT hallmark cute at all!

Trust that if this is where/how you tend to flex, this might not be for you, so please mind your triggers!!!***

As usual, I thought Day's narrative was fun to read, flowed really easily and had great pace, even if it went by too quickly for me lol. I'm also really happy that where there was a lot of hurt and disconnect in Rudolf's relationships outside of Arlo, all of that got resolved the best way possible at the end. So much warmhearted, cozy goodness throughout this story, and ofc the ending was just so sweet and adorable that i could not help but love it to bits.

This was a lovely, comfort-cozy, ☃️
