The Darkness of Day by S.V. Brosius

Did not finish book.
This was a DNF for me. I went into this with high expectations. However, the religious aspect of the novel made me pause to check if I downloaded Christian Fiction by mistake.

This probably is a good read but just not what I’m used to reading when it comes to vampires. The FMC seemed very immature for a woman in her 40s. The book lists her being born in 1975, which makes her way older and too mature to still be living with her parents and having to be home in time for dinner. I could have probably given a pass for that. But, her having a glass of milk with her dinner was the final straw for me.

I refrained from rendering a star rating because I did not finish it but the book seems very disjointed and after a while, the inconsistencies became too annoying.

Happy reading!
