Any ways my thoughts. This felt very school for good and evil it me but when they graduated because all the girls go to one school to become ready to be a bride and the guys go to another for whatever they do. Never meeting one another and are to stay "pure" They ;for the most part, are from prestigious families.

When they graduated the girls are paraded about for the boys to decide who they will pick. When picked they go thru a ritual that makes them only able to have children with one another and if one dies so to does the other, but they only have a moon cycle(30 days) to consummate or they will never be selected again or have children. They will become a pariah because the ritual spell can only be completed once.
