Unrelatable unlikable characters which are the only focus of the book. Highly dramatic "Karen's" of upper middle class, in their own world, perhaps reflective of the average reader which i assume is a white middle age woman, who is also the author of this book.
Writing itself is very descriptive, the only strength of the author for this book. Lacks detail, author forgets her own story and has the not yet 1 year old "charging" at her mom "like a linebacker" when before in the story the not yet 1 year old could not walk. The author seems to have very limited life experience, does not seem to understand how the ER works - a doctor cannot just discharge a patient and patient who has an IV can just leave when the doctor says you can go. One of many examples of the author seeming to live in a bubble as her writing reflects.
Very one dimensional book.
The only emotion it invoked was annoyance, border line anger at the simplicity and stupidity of the characters and writing. Thank goodness it is a short book.
