So i read this series out of order because something in my spirit told me I wasn't really going to care for this book, and it was correct lol. I just don't think I really care for the tropes in this book, and this was also entirely too close to Val just having Stockholm syndrome the entire time. This book also made me cry which was good and the reason it got 3.5 (i love books that can make me cry) but....

Tattooing someone while their intoxicated? Switching out birth control pills? Taking advantage of her while drunk? Forcing her to be triggered all the time????? EHHHHHHHHHHHhhh......not something i enjoy ngl like i weirdly liked Dom as a MMC, but the actions he did....ick~

I definitely enjoyed Hans book a lot more, and tbh i think its my favorite out of this entire series.
