Merry Little Mishap by Vivian Mae is a short Christmas novella about Nick and Elena, who have been secretly admiring each other from a distance. Nick, as Elena’s super, keeps finding excuses to see her—like dragging out fixing her sink. When they get stuck in an elevator on Christmas Eve, things heat up quickly, and the spice is definitely there. While the premise had potential, the execution fell a bit flat for me, and it just didn’t fully hit the mark.
