Sinners Consumed by Somme Sketcher

"If I drown, you're drowning with me. If you burn, I'm burning too. Pick your route to hell, Rafe. The destination and the company are the same."
4/5 ⭐
OKAY I have lots and lots of thoughts on the final book of Penny and Rafe's duet. I'm warning you now that there will be some spoilers ahead so proceed with caution if you have not read this one yet!!
So I absolutely love Penny and Rafe. Sinners Condemned is like an all-time favorite book for me, I loved it so freaking much. Their banter, their playfulness, everything was just chef's kiss worthy.
And let me tell you, this book gave me whiplash and through me for a loop a bit. Rafe went from being this playful guy to this dark, completely unhinged man in this book. I felt like a lot of things he did was out of character, even if he reached his breaking point in the last book. We all know that he's not a gentleman at heart, but he was just a complete dick in the beginning of this one and I was not expecting it... Penny didn't deserve that.
The tone/vibe/idea with this book was a complete 360 from the last book, in my opinion! I feel like the plot really didn't move forward at all (Dante was there and then all of a sudden... just not?) Which was hard for me to grasp because I loved the plot of the last two books!!
Rafe also could have groveled more after the audacity to be such a dick
