The Search Party by Hannah Richell
4.0
The Search Party is a character driven and very atmospheric closed room type mystery with lots of red herrings to keep you guessing. A glamping weekend as a reunion for friends who have supposedly been friends for over 20 years since their college days turns into a disaster on their first evening and only gets worse as the weekend progresses. Told from the perspective of many of the characters from before the incident which gets the police involved and after, this is an intriguing look at what friendships really entail, as well as the difference in marriages, and raising children – including one who has severe emotional problems due to a traumatized early life.
