Maddox was great but the entire book was all about how amazing Maddox was.  He was just too perfect from page one.  And the reason that Brogan thought that she was a bit anti-climatic.  Well the whole book was really.  I don't discount her anxiety and fears but it all seemed . . . anti-climatic.  I got bored.
