This month so far has been really stressful for me, and it forced me to slow down while I'm reading and actually spend a lot longer digesting what I read than the time I normally spend with the text, and I'm grateful for it. Song of Solomon is the first book I've read this month and I got so swept up in it regardless of much or how little I was able to read at a time. It's heavy and thought-provoking and I loved following Milkman on his journey to the past.
