The It Girl by Ruth Ware

5.0

I was so excited to grab this book! I’ve been wanting to read it since I heard it was out – and it did not disappoint.

This book is told from the perspective of Hannah Jones, both before the event and after the event – in the present. April Clarke-Cliveden is rich, bright, and sometimes vicious. Shes the ultimate IT Girl. Her vicious streak comes out as she plays really mean pranks on her friends. April and Hannah become quick friends as they share a common dorm space in their dual room suite in Oxford. By the second term, April is dead. Hannah was the main witness and is firm in her belief the right man was caught, until he dies in prison still speaking his innocence. Hannah now grapples with her memories and sets off to figure out if what she remembers is really what happened.

This book was great. I did figure out who killed April, but it was fun and I enjoyed learning how the death occurred so the twist was still twisty! I really enjoyed this book and hope you pick it up! Another great read by Ruth Ware. 5/5 stars from me!
